Yes. Once the bids come in you can see who you would be hiring and read their customer reviews before the visit. Those reviews matter: customer reviews decide which mechanics stay on the platform.
Can a mobile mechanic work at my apartment or condo in Arlington, Rosslyn or Clarendon?
Often yes, as long as the building allows it. Garage space or a level surface is what matters, plus your building's rules on vehicle repairs, which vary. Read your lease or ask management, then put the parking details in your request so the mechanics bidding know the setup.
Does a mobile mechanic come to my office in Tysons or Reston?
Many people book from the office lot or garage so the car is done by the time they leave. Check that your building or employer allows it, then tell us the address and parking situation when you submit the request.

What happens if I am not happy with the work?
There is a 100% satisfaction promise. Parts carry the manufacturer's warranty and TravelMechanic stands behind the service. If a warranty claim needs labor, we charge only the travel fee and the labor. Reviews also hold mechanics accountable, since customer reviews decide who stays on the platform.
Am I charged before the mechanic arrives?
No. Your card is held up front to reserve the visit, not charged. You pay only when the work is done, and cash is never accepted.
What if I do not know what is wrong with my car?
Describe the noise, light or symptom. If a diagnosis is needed first, the inspection is credited toward the fix. If you decide not to fix it with us, the fee goes to the mechanic's time and travel. If the mechanic can't diagnose exactly what's wrong, you get a full refund.
What if the final price is different from the quote?
Quotes are best estimates, never fixed or final. If more parts or time are needed, or a part is out of stock, you hear first and can cancel for a full refund.
